(25-minute lesson; 50-minute practice)
Prerequisite: Working on Basic 4 or above
Synchronized skating is the fastest growing discipline in figure skating, with teams springing up in cities across the country (indeed, across the world!) and on college campuses. Stamford Twin Rinks is the proud home of the Spitfires, with three teams Beginner, Preliminary, and Pre-Juvenile representing the Springdale Figure Skating Club, an official club of U.S. Figure Skating based at STR. Come join the fun world of synchronized skating. The Spitfires perform exhibitions and compete in local and regional events. Prepare for Spitfires try-outs by joining our introductory class. Learn hand and arm positions, formations, and footwork sequences directly from one of our team coaches.
